Community acupuncture is a return to Asian tradition where all acupuncture was provided in a group setting. Any condition can be treated using only the points between the toes and knees and the fingers and elbows, so there is no reason to disrobe. You will relax in a recliner for the duration of treatment which is usually 45 minutes or longer if needed.
Acupuncture in a communal setting allows friends and family members to come together and creates a sense of collective healing energy. Whatever your physical or emotional issues are, take an hour out of your hectic day to let us solve your health issues, become focused, and relaxed.
Affordable Sliding Scale Fee Schedule
We offer treatments on a sliding scale of $20-$40 per treatment. So that community acupuncture is fair to everyone, I have established guidelines. Our year-round uninsured residents pay $20-$40 based upon their ability to pay. Insured patients pay the copay which is established by the insurance company. Our seasonal residents who make their home here only in the winter will pay $30. Insured patients who have exhausted the number of treatments their insurance company will allow will pay $30. This is fair as a number of treatments have already been received for a small copay. The rate for our Canadian visitors is $40.
